🔧 Utility

  • Quickly and easily test performances of your assets without having to loose time drag & dropping 1, 5, 10, 50 assets of this and that kind in your scene just to benchmark their performances, polluting your project or needing to doing that again and again during the project.
  • Just drag & drop one time!
  • Switch between prefabs and choose their quantity 🙌
  • Do comparisons as you wish (5 slots available, easily extendable if you want by adding some lines to the code and UI).

👆 Usage & Friendly user experience

  • Drag & Drop your assets in the slots : you can test prefabs and meshes 👌
  • The object grid automatically instantiate based on the object size! 🧊🧊🧊🧊
  • You can add multiple assets on one slot ! 🎲 They will be distributed randomly
  • The camera adapts to the instance count dynamically so you can always see the whole! 🤩
  • Script executable both in Editor Mode and Play mode! 🤗
  • Flexible UI, adapting both to portrait & landscape. Ideally configured to work on phone screen (1920x1080p), but can fit to any case.

ℹ️ Informations

  • For quick info, you will see the FPS, triangle count and material count in the UI
  • Read the Unity default debug panels as usual for more in-depth infos.

  • Done in Unity 6, URP pipeline.

  • Full UnityPackage containing:
    • the Benchmark Unity scene
    • with its clickable UI,
